Toro Rosso will launch STR9 on January 27th
Toro Rosso are the seventh team to confirm their 2014 launch plans and have also confirmed they will be at the first test of the season. The STR9 will be launched on the Monday (January 27th) before testing begins. They are so far the only team to have chosen the Monday as their launch date, with Mercedes, Red Bull and Caterham opting for Tuesday morning. The launch takes place in the evening, where driver's Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kyvat will give interviews. At present, Lotus are the only outfit to have chosen to miss the opening test in Jerez.
