Marussia boss hits back at 2014 cash doubts 13 January, 2014 Graeme Lowdon Marussia has hit back at suggestions it might be in dire financial health, with Lotus also slamming suggestions they do not have the funds in place for their forthcoming F1 world championship campaign. The backmarker team's place on the newly-released official 2014 entry list was marked with a conditional asterisk. But in the following hours, Marussia issued a press statement announcing that the well-backed Briton Max Chilton is staying put for a second season.
