Permanent F1 driver numbers revealed
The FIA have revealed the provisional entry list for the Formula One championship, including the numbers each driver will be able to carry on their cars for the remainder of their careers.
World Champion Sebastian Vettel has the choice to run 1 or a number of his choosing, but he will take up the number 1 option and plans to use number 5 if he is to compete as a non-champion in the future. His teammate Daniel Ricciardo got #3. The Mercedes duo have #44 and #6 while at Ferrari, Alonso got his preferred karting number 14 with Raikkonen opting for #7. The Marussia drivers are both still to be confirmed, but Jules Bianchi has already been assigned number 17, contrary to Max Chilton who is...
