Mercedes will launch new car in Jerez
January 7th, 2014 (F1plus/R Baillie).- The Brackley based team confirmed on Twitter that they will unveil their 2014 challenger on the first day of the first pre-season test in Jerez, Spain. Mercedes broke the news on Twitter after answering fans questions about when their new car would be launched, saying it will be launched ‘when the garage doors goes up’ on January 28th. The news comes the day after Lotus confirmed that they will not take part in the Jerez test, favoring further development time, and will unveil their car at the second pre-season testing in Bahrain.
