McLaren to unveil MP4-29 online
January 7th, 2014 (F1plus/R. Baillie).- McLaren will launch the MP4-29 online on the 24th January. Their 2014 challenger will be launched in an online only event at 12:00pm GMT. In its tweet the team said: “The car, plus supporting videos and editorial material will be available at www.mclaren.con/formula1 and through our all social channels.” The team held a similar event in January last year when they launched the MP4-28. Earlier today Mercedes announced on Twitter that unlike McLaren they will not be holding a separate car launch and will unveil their car as the garage doors come up on the first day of pre-season testing in Jerez.
