Online launch for McLaren's MP4-29
McLaren has confirmed that their new 2014 car, the MP4-29, will be launched on January 24th, four days before the first day of winter testing kicks off at the Jerez circuit.
It will be an online-only, digital unveiling via the team's website at 12:00pm midday GMT, differing from recent years where the launches have taken place at the McLaren Technology Centre.
The team, who finished fifth in the 2013 constructors' standings after a dismal campaign, confirmed their driver line-up in November last year, with rookie Kevin Magnussen joining 2009 champion Jenson Button.
