Schumacher family thankful for support

The Schumacher family have issued a statement via Michael Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, thanking the medical team and fans around the world for their support. The seven-time world champion remains in a 'critical and serious state' following brain surgery to ease pressure following his skiing accident on Sunday. The statement reads: "We would like to thank the medical team who we know do everything possible to help Michael. "We like to also thank the people from all around the world who have expressed their sympathy and sent their best wishes for Michael's recovery.
