Doctor: Schumacher remains in a 'critical condition'

Michael Schumacher remains in a "very critical condition" following a skiing accident which happened on Sunday morning in the French Alps resort of Meribel. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion was airlifted to a local hospital in Moutiers, before being transferred to Grenoble where he arrived in a coma. His condition has yet to approve according to his doctor, who confirmed he underwent surgery to release pressure on his brain during a press conference on Monday morning. "He remains in an artificial coma," explained Professor Jean-Francois Payen. "He is undergoing treatment to limit the damage to his brain and we are trying to release the pressure in his head....
