Michael Schumacher injured in skiing accident
Seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher has been taken to hospital following an accident while skiing in the French resort of Meribel.According to initial media reports from Europe 1, the former Ferrari and Mercedes driver has been airlifted to hospital in Grenoble with 'serious head injuries', although there was no official comment from either the hospital or Schumacher's representatives.The director of the ski station where Schumacher was injured has since made comment on the incident, insisting that the 44-year-old was 'shaken but conscious' when taken to hospital and had been wearing a helmet at the time.
