Future uncertain for Kovalainen
Heikki Kovalainen admits that his future in Formula 1 is uncertain, as he waits to see if he has secured a seat at the Caterham team for next season.
The Finn is maintaining his training schedule in the hope that he will make it on the grid in 2014. It comes after he spent the majority of this season on the sidelines after being demoted to the Leafield-based outfit's reserve driver.
However, he did manage to compete in two races after replacing Kimi Raikkonen at Lotus for the final two rounds. He is still in with a chance of securing one of the two vacant seats at Caterham but has plenty of competition.
