Kobayashi and Ericsson talking to Caterham for 2014 21 December, 2013 Kamui Kobayashi With Sauber announcing that Esteban Gutierrez will partner Adrian Sutil in the team for 2014, only race cockpit vacancies on the 2014 grid are now a seat with Marussia (Jules Bianchi already confirmed) and teo berths with Caterham.
Former Toyota and Sauber F1 driver Kamui Kobayashi was spotted at Caterham's factory this week.
Michael Schmidt, the respected correspondent for Auto Motor und Sport, said the Japanese drivber as well as GP2 Series driver Marcus Ericsson are on pole position for the race seats.
