Caterham passes 2014 FIA crash tests

– Caterham is the second team to announce that it has passed the relevant FIA crash tests with its 2014 chassis. Following on from Sauber, the Leafield-based outfit revealed on Friday that its frontal impact and fuel cell integrity tests were a success, thus completing the homologation process ahead of the new season. "We have successfully completed the two crash tests for homologation of our 2014 chassis," said the team via Twitter. "Great news for us." Caterham's recent crash test can be viewed via GPUpdateTV.
