Top trio to skip Bahrain test

Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso will all be absent from the upcoming Pirelli tyre test in Bahrain. Instead of choosing their two drivers for the 2014 season for the testing session, Ferrari opted for development driver Pedro de la Rosa and Driver Academy member Jules Bianchi. Although Red Bull are yet to confirm their drivers for the test that was officially sanctioned on Monday, according to a report by Autosport, Vettel is unlikely to be present. Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari and Toro Rosso are the only teams that confirmed their participation at the test, after McLaren, Force India, Lotus, Sauber, Williams, Marussia and Caterham all declined the opportunity presented...
