FIA confirms Todt re-elected for another four-years

Jean Todt will retain his position as president of the FIA after he ran unchallenged in the election. The Frenchman was voted in at a meeting in Paris on Friday. He begins his second four-year term in office after rival David Ward withdrew from the election last month after he failed to secure enough support to continue. "Thank you for so strongly endorsing our Team," he said during his acceptance speech. "We are both humbled and proud to have your trust to guide our great organisation for another four years. Nick [Craw], Brian [Gibbons], Graham [Stoker], and I thank you."
