F1 2013 – Marussia could merge with Sauber after failed Williams attempt

The Marussia F1 team could merge with the Sauber F1 team after reports emerged Marussia attempted to merge with the Williams F1 team.Marussia who have financial difficulties reportedly attempted a merger with Williams to create a more financially stable F1 team that would benefit from both money and resources, however Claire Williams refuted the offer as the Williams F1 team wish to remain independent.Reports are now suggesting that Marussia could merge with Sauber, who are also reportedly suffering financial issues. The deal would make sense as both teams are powered by Ferrari engines
