Maldonado admits Williams criticism was wrong

Pastor Maldonado has admitted that he was wrong to criticise Williams after qualifying for the United States Grand Prix. The Venezuelan will leave the team at the end of the season and will be replaced by Felipe Massa. Maldonado's departure from the Grove based outfit was confirmed just prior to the race in Austin, Texas, and the 28-year-old didn't hold back when sharing his feelings, saying he was 'very happy' to be leaving the team after three difficult years. After qualifying 18th on the grid for Sunday's race, he went as far as suggesting that the team had sabotaged his car to hinder his performance.
