One Year Rewind – Button and Vettel victorious in Brazil

The 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix may have been won by the McLaren of Jenson Button, but all eyes were on Sebastian Vettel as he recovered from a disastrous first lap crash to claim his third Formula 1 world title. After scoring a second place finish at the last round in Austin, Texas, behind race winner Lewis Hamilton, the Red Bull driver headed to São Paulo with a 13 point lead over Fernando Alonso. Both drivers were battling to be crowned a three-time world champion but it was the German driver who, once again, emerged on top.
