First points for Bottas in Austin
November 17th, 2013 (F1Plus / Chris Cameron-Dow) - Valtteri Bottas earned his first points in Formula One by finishing eighth in the United States Grand Prix. In the second Williams, Pastor Maldonado finished 17th after a first-lap incident compromised his race. Bottas looked impressive throughout the weekend, particularly in qualifying where he set the fastest lap time in Q1 on Saturday. After qualifying ninth, Bottas was able to fight in the top ten during the race and finished one place ahead of where he started.
