Pic and Chilton get penalties

Sutton Images Enlarge Charles Pic will start from the back of the grid for the United States Grand Prix following a gearbox change. Pic's gearbox required changing ahead of qualifying, and the mandatory five-place grid penalty drops him from his original 21st place starting position behind Max Chilton. Chilton himself has been handed a drive-through penalty which he must take in the first five laps of the race after he twice impeded other cars during qualifying. The stewards found that Chilton had blocked first Pastor Maldonado and later Adrian Sutil between the penultimate and final corners, and as he originally qualified in last place Chilton was handed a drive-through instead.
