Kvyat obtains super license in time for FP1 run-outs

Red Bull junior driver Daniil Kvyat has obtained the FIA super license required for him to take part in an official grand prix session, meaning that the Russian driver will be able to represent Toro Rosso during practice for the United States and Brazilian Grands Prix ahead of his move to the team next season. Kvyat was confirmed as the shock replacement for Red Bull-bound Daniel Ricciardo ahead of the Indian Grand Prix, fending off competition from Antonio Felix da Costa (whom many considered to be a shoe-in for the seat) and Carlos Sainz Jr. Kvyat went a long way to justifying Toro Rosso's decision by winning the GP3 title in Abu Dhabi with one race to spare despite staring down the...
