Grand Prix Diary – Abu Dhabi
For the final time in 2013, Richland F1 sheds some light on life in the paddock as Editor-in-Chief Luke Smith made the ‘arduous' journey to Abu Dhabi for Formula One's final glamour event of the season.
Abu Dhabi marked my fifth and final race of what has been an incredible season, and it proved to be the perfect way to finish things off. Although the championship had been decided and there appeared to be little to play for, it did not stop an influx to the Arab state. However, my plane to Bahrain (where I had a connection) was relatively empty as most had either travelled earlier or taken a direct flight. Nevertheless, I arrived in Abu Dhabi and immediately uttered the same words...
