Caterham confident they have the pace to beat Marussia

Qualifying didn’t go quite to plan for Caterham, with Giedo van der Garde starting tomorrow’s Indian Grand Prix in 20th and Charles Pic 21st, but the Leafield based team are confident they have the pace to beat Marussia. “Tomorrow we know we have the race pace to pull away from our nearest rivals, so we'll see how it works out.” van der Garde said. Caterham are currently 11th place in the Constructors Championship and in order to receive prize money at the end of the year, they must beat Marussia to 10th place.
