Vettel completes Indian Grand Prix practice clean sweep
Sebastian Vettel topped the shortened final practice session ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Indian Grand Prix, the reigning world champion staking his claim to a hat-trick of pole positions at the Buddh International Circuit.
Vettel set a time of one minute 25.332, once again leading team-mate Mark Webber, whose best time of the session was half a second slower than his team-mate’s session topping effort, with the two Red Bull drivers completing a clean sweep of the practice sessions.
Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari set the third fastest time of the day, the Spaniard making an improvement late in the session with a qualifying simulation on the soft tyres. However, Alonso’s best was...
