F1 2013 – De Villota death linked to 2012 injuries

The latest reports into the death of former Marussia test driver Maria De Villota are claiming she died of injuries relating to her accident in 2012.A forensic doctor has reportedly told her family she died 'as a consequence of the neurological injuries she suffered' during her 2012 crash.Maria almost lost her life in the accident when her Marussia car collided with a lorry during a Marussia straight line test. Maria lost her eye in the accident and has worn an eye patch ever since.
