Force India won't 'deflect' from 2014 plan

Bob Fernley is adamant Force India made the right decision switching their focus to 2014 even in light of their recent slump. Force India made a flying start to this season, netting 59 points in the first half of the Championship. This put the Silverstone-based outfit fifth on the log and even ahead of the Championship-winning McLaren team. Force India's fortunes, though, suffered a massive downward spiral from Hungary onwards when Pirelli changed to more durable tyres in the wake of blow-outs and complaints.
