Williams: It was a frustrating day 11 October, 2013 Team and drivers report from the first day of the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, Round 15 of the 2013 Formula 1 World Championship, at Suzuka.
Objectives: Set-up work, tyre runs and aero evaluations.
Xevi Pujolar, Chief Race Engineer: In FP1 we did a number of different aerodynamic tests across the two cars including front wing comparisons and tested some development floor and front brake duct components. Following this we picked the best configuration for FP2 when we switched our focus to tyre work.
