Sauber extends Ferrari partnership

Sauber and Ferrari's partnership will enter a fifth consecutive season Sutton Images Enlarge Sauber has announced it is extending its technical partnership with Ferrari and will purchase the complete powertrain for 2014. Sauber has been using Ferrari engines since 2010 and has now announced that the extension is "a multi-year agreement" which will see Ferrari supplying the full 2014 powertrain "including engine, gearbox and ERS". Team principal Monisha Kaltenborn said Ferrari's reliability would be an important factor during next season's technical regulation changes.
