Hulkenberg expects news soon
Nico Hulkenberg is optimistic he is now just a "couple of weeks" away from finalising his plans for the 2014 season.The highly-rated 26-year-old has proved to be a central figure in what has proved a particularly unpredictable 'silly season' rumour mill this year, with the German linked persistently with a move away from Sauber come the end of the year.
Although his chances of a long-mooted move to Ferrari evaporated when the Scuderia opted to re-hire Kimi Raikkonen, Hulkenberg is a front-runner to replace the Finn at Lotus while a return to Force India, or even ultimately a second season with Sauber, have both been rumoured.
