Pirro named as Korea driver steward
Emanuele Pirro will serve as governing body the FIA's dedicated driver steward at this weekend's Korean Grand Prix, a position he has held on six previous occasions. The 51-year-old Italian, who most recently joined the stewarding panel at the German Grand Prix, contested 38 races from 1989 to 1991, picking up a best finish of fifth. Pirro is also a five-time winner of the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans event, and has claimed honours in the respective German and Italian Touring Car Championships.
