Vettel tightens title grip in Singapore

Sebastian Vettel's seventh victory of the 2013 F1 season has edged him closer to another early world championship title.Although the German appears unable to repeat the round 15 success of his second crown without his main rivals failing to score in either Korea or Japan, it is entirely feasible that the title could be wrapped up in India as victory in Singapore pushed Vettel fully 60 points clear of nearest rival Fernando Alonso.The Spaniard came through from seventh on the grid to claim second at the flag, thanks largely to a blinding start – which reclaim four places alone – and then a tactical long final stint that allowed him to keep ahead of the pack.
