Button relaxed over contract

Jenson Button has made clear that both he and McLaren are relaxed over his contractual situation at the team and he will be racing for them in 2014. Although Button has long been expected to stay at the Woking team into next season, it nonetheless emerged last month that McLaren hadn't yet actually taken up the option on the 2009 World Champion's services for next year. Martin Whitmarsh has strongly hinted that McLaren will field an unchanged line-up of Button and Sergio Perez next season - admitting recently that both "deserve another go" in wake of the team's stark 2013 underperformance - and newspaper reports earlier this month suggested that McLaren would soon open...
