Singapore Grand Prix: Caterham preview Marina Bay weekend 15 September, 2013 Caterham team and drivers preview the Singapore Grand Prix, Round 13 of the 2013 Formula 1 world championship, at Marina Bay Circuit.
Quick description Only night race on the F1 calendar
High downforce track with very hot and humid climatic conditions.
In 2012 the track was resurfaced between T5 & T7 and a special “cleaning” machine was also used which appeared to mildly grind off the upper layer of the bitumen making the surface quite abrasive
The track is still very bumpy even after resurfacing in 2010, especially T13-14
The cars need high ride height to avoid bottoming and excessive plank wear and they also...
