Ferrari signs Lotus aerodynamics chief

Ferrari has acted to further strengthen its technical line-up by signing Lotus' head of aerodnyamics Dirk de Beer. The South African will reunite with James Allison, who departed his role as the Enstone-based outfit's Technical Director earlier this year. Although Ferrari is yet to officially announce de Beer's appointment, he is expected to work alongside the Italian marque's current head of aero Loïc Bigois and directly underneath Allison, who has taken on the position of Chassis Technical Director.
