Prime & Option: the week in review, September 2
As historically happens in the latter half of the season (this weekend is the final European round before Singapore!) on the week between races, all Formula 1 news centers around silly season. Unlike last week when we could talk about the Belgian Grand Prix, it was mostly about 2014 this week.
2014’s Silly Season Remains Strong
As if there were not enough avenues for speculation, the newest line on Kimi Raikkonen’s whereabouts for next season involves a return to his old friends at McLaren. In an interview at F1.com, Martin Whitmarsh said, “I’m completely open – last year we had talks with him, but for various reasons it didn’t happen. This year we’ve had no talks – yet.”...
