Boullier would prefer Pirelli remains tyre supplier

Lotus team principal Eric Boullier says it is his preference that Pirelli remains tyre supplier next season. Michelin confirmed over the Belgian Grand Prix weekend that it is interested in becoming Formula One's next tyre supplier but only if the FIA is willing to make changes to the regulations. The uncertainty has come about due to a lack of a contract between Pirelli and the FIA despite Pirelli having a deal with Bernie Ecclestone and claiming to have agreements with the majority of the teams.
