Vettel delighted with 'controlled' victory
"true">Sebastian Vettel expressed his satisfaction after claiming a trouble-free Belgian Grand Prix victory at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on Sunday afternoon. Having jumped ahead of pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton on the opening lap of the race, the Red Bull driver looked at ease throughout, gradually pulling away to take the chequered flag almost 20 seconds ahead of Ferrari rival Fernando Alonso. "It was a fantastic race for us," explained Vettel. "On the first lap it helped to have the toe with Lewis; we just flew past. Once we were ahead we had incredible pace.
