McLaren yet to re-sign Button
Jenson Button insists McLaren is the "right" team for him even though they has yet to exorcise their option on the Brit.
Button joined McLaren in 2010 on the back of his Championship-winning season with Brawn GP but has failed to achieve a World title with the Woking-based outfit.
Out of the fight again this season, Button was recently asked whether a move to Red Bull or Ferrari could be on the horizon.
The 33-year-old, though, says he wants to remain with McLaren even though they have yet to use their option on him for 2014.
"I need to be asked first," he told The Guardian when asked if he'll pledge his future to McLaren. "Where is Martin? He still hasn't asked...
