Räikkönen skips media day due to illness

Kimi Räikkönen's scheduled Thursday media sessions at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit have been cancelled, with Lotus claiming that he is suffering from illness. Räikkönen has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, the Finn yet to confirm the team he will be racing for next year. A Red Bull switch was ruled out on Monday, although manager Steve Roberston says multiple options are still available. Lotus added that Räikkönen is expected to arrive at the track as normal on Friday.
