Caterham targets early driver call
Caterham team boss Cyril Abiteboul says the Leafield-based squad is hoping to confirm its 2014 driver line-up as early as next month.Although Charles Pic was confirmed for the current campaign during the 2012 season finale in Brazil, Giedo van der Garde was only confirmed as his team-mate early this year amidst much discussion over who would take the second drive.Speaking to Brazilian website TotalRace, Abiteboul revealed that he was keen to tie down his drivers for next year at an early stage to give the team more opportunity to prepare for the campaign ahead, with changing engine regulations making it vital that teams are able to get their programmes in place as soon as possible to...
