Ferrari confirm Allison as new Technical Director

Ferrari has confirmed that James Allison is set to join the team later this year after months of speculation. Allison who stepped down as Lotus Technical Director in May had been strongly linked to a return to Maranello, where he spent five successful years between 2000 and 2004 at the height of the Schumacher era. A statement from Ferrari reads: “Ferrari announces that, as from this coming 1st September, James Allison will join the Scuderia in the role of Chassis Technical Director. At the same time, Pat Fry will take on the new position of Director of Engineering. Both men will report directly to the Team Principal of the Gestione Sportiva, Stefano Domenicalli.” Images courtesy of...
