Calado pleased with maiden F1 showing

James Calado completed his first official mileage in a Formula 1 car on Wednesday morning, the 24-year-old Briton getting accustomed to Force India's VJM06 chassis. Having been mooted as a potential replacement for ex-reserve driver Jules Bianchi, who is now racing for Marussia, Calado kicked off the team's testing programme with a total of 27 laps, talking positively about his experience after stepping out of the car. "I gave good feedback and set some reasonable lap times, my first lap was pretty impressive," said GP2 racer Calado, who had two aerodynamic tests under his belt before the outing. "I feel very lucky to have had this opportunity; I feel over the moon."...
