Fangio’s Mercedes sold for £17.5 million

A Mercedes W196 driven by five-time Formula One world champion Juan Manuel Fangio during the 1954 season has been sold for $26.4 million (£17.5 million) at an auction at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
