Red Bull Racing confirms pit-stop changes

Red Bull Racing is to make changes to its pit-stop procedures following the German Grand Prix last weekend, where Mark Webber’s right-rear wheel flew off and injured an FOM cameraman. In the aftermath of the race at the Nürburgring, the Milton Keynes-based squad launched an investigation, the results of which have now been circulated to the teams and the FIA, the sports governing body. The issue occurred on Sunday when the mechanic on the right-rear went to remove a cross-threaded wheel nut and put on a replacement.
