Sebastian Vettel aiming for a repeat of successes in Hungary
After finally taking his first victory on home soil during last weekend’s German Grand Prix, reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel is already setting his sights firmly upon securing another maiden victory when the sport reconvenes in several weeks in Hungary. Sebastian Vettel currently sits 24 points ahead of Fernando Alonso in the Drivers’ Championship.
Despite qualifying 2nd for the German Grand Prix around the iconic Nurburgring, Sebastian Vettel powered himself into the lead at Turn 1. Throughout the race the Red Bull ace was subjected to severe pressure from the Lotus duo of Romain Grosjean and Kimi Raikkonen, with the Frenchman closing the gap to under a second at one stage...
