Sauber silent over Hülkenberg rumours
Sauber is refusing to comment over rumours that Nico Hülkenberg, who finished tenth during last weekend's German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, has been released from his contract because the team is no longer able to pay his salary. With the Hinwil-based outfit enduring severe financial issues, both parties are said to have cut their official ties as a result of missed contractual payments, meaning the German would be free to move to another team during the second half of the season.
