F1 2013 – Hulkenberg terminates Sauber contract
Reports are suggesting that Nico Hulkenberg has activated a termination clause in his contract with Sauber after it was rumoured he had not been paid for the month of May.It is thought that Hulkenberg will remain with Sauber throughout this season although he will be free to join another team at any time.Sauber are said to be in financial difficulty with team principal Monisha Kaltenborn looking to find a new sponsor or even buyer to secure the teams future.Hulkenberg said 'I think it’s a difficult situation,''She [Monisha Kaltenborn] and the team management are trying to work on a solution. She's assured me she’s working on that and there's not much more I can say.'
