Germany analysis - Vettel and Red Bull will not be denied

Sebastian Vettel had never won his home Grand Prix. He had also never won a race in the month of July. On Sunday at the Nurburgring, the world champion changed all that as he soaked up the pressure from the man tipped as his 2014 team mate, Kimi Raikkonen. Victory was Red Bull’s, but it was a good day for Lotus, whose improved race pace meant Romain Grosjean joined Raikkonen on the podium, as Silverstone winners Mercedes faded in the German heat.
