Report: Seb Finally Tastes Success At Home

It has taken him a few years, but Sebastian Vettel has finally won a race on home soil after being victorious at the German Grand Prix. Having been beaten to pole position by Lewis Hamilton in qualifying at the Nurburgring, Vettel got his revenge as soon as the lights went out as he flew past the Mercedes off the line. His team-mate Mark Webber also managed to get ahead of Hamilton and the race was set up nicely for a Red Bull battle at the front. However, while Vettel went on to win the race after keeping the Lotus duo of Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean at bay, Webber's hopes of a possible podium ended on lap nine when he had a problem during his first pit stop.
