P3: Vettel edges clear

Sebastian Vettel topped final practice for the German Grand Prix by almost seven tenths of a second from Nico Rosberg on Saturday morning.The defending World Champion asserted himself in the closing moments of the session with a lap of 1:29.517s. Behind Rosberg's Mercedes came the Red Bull of Mark Webber with the Ferraris of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa respectively fourth and fifth. Kimi Raikkonen's Lotus was fifth ahead of Lewis Hamilton who, once again, was struggling with the balance on his Mercedes.
