Drivers ready to boycott race over tyre issues

Formula One drivers have warned that they may boycott the German Grand Prix this weekend if these is a repeat of the tyre issues that plagued the British GP at Silverstone one week ago. The Grand Prix Drivers' Association issued a statement to make it clear that its drivers will pull out of the event immediately if there are further safety issues with the tyres. Pirelli have however tried to remedy the issues by brining new Kevler-belted tyres to the Nürburgring and are sure they will be no repeat of the problems seen at the high speed Silverstone circuit.
